Making Negative and Question Sentences in Spoken English (स्पोकन इंग्लिश में नेगेटिव और क्वेश्चन सेंटेंस बनाना)

Today we are going to learn how to make negative sentences and question sentences. (आज हम सीखेंगे कि नेगेटिव सेंटेंस और क्वेश्चन सेंटेंस कैसे बनाए जाते हैं)

In the last lesson, we learned how to make positive sentences using I am, You are, He is, She is, We are, They are, and It is. (पिछली क्लास में हमने I am, You are, He is, She is, We are, They are और It is का इस्तेमाल करके पॉजिटिव सेंटेंस बनाना सीखा था)

Positive Sentence Examples (पॉजिटिव सेंटेंस के उदाहरण)

• I am Kundan (मैं कुंदन हूं)
• I am a doctor (मैं एक डॉक्टर हूं)
• I am a teacher (मैं एक टीचर हूं)
• You are Rakesh (तुम राकेश हो)

How to Make Negative Sentences (नेगेटिव सेंटेंस कैसे बनाएं)

To make a negative sentence, just add not after the helping verb. (नेगेटिव सेंटेंस बनाने के लिए सिर्फ हेल्पिंग वर्ब के बाद not लगाना होता है)

I am → I am not (I am के साथ not)

• I am not Kundan (मैं कुंदन नहीं हूं)
• I am not a doctor (मैं डॉक्टर नहीं हूं)
• I am not a teacher (मैं टीचर नहीं हूं)
• I am not a soldier (मैं सोल्जर नहीं हूं)
• I am not a nurse (मैं नर्स नहीं हूं)

Just add not after I am. (बस I am के बाद not जोड़ दीजिए)

He is / She is / Name is (He is / She is / नाम के साथ)

• He is not a doctor (वह डॉक्टर नहीं है)
• She is not a teacher (वह टीचर नहीं है)
• Rakesh is not a doctor (राकेश डॉक्टर नहीं है)
• Suresh is not an engineer (सुरेश इंजीनियर नहीं है)

Just use is not. (बस is के बाद not लगाइए)

Simple Rule (आसान नियम)

• I am → I am not (I am के बाद not)
• He is → He is not (He is के बाद not)
• She is → She is not (She is के बाद not)
• We are → We are not (We are के बाद not)
• They are → They are not (They are के बाद not)
• It is → It is not (It is के बाद not)

How to Make Question Sentences (क्वेश्चन सेंटेंस कैसे बनाएं)

To make a question, bring the helping verb to the front. (क्वेश्चन बनाने के लिए हेल्पिंग वर्ब को आगे ले आना होता है)

I am → Am I? (I am से क्वेश्चन)

• Am I a doctor? (क्या मैं डॉक्टर हूं?)
• Am I an engineer? (क्या मैं इंजीनियर हूं?)
• Am I a school teacher? (क्या मैं स्कूल टीचर हूं?)

He / She / We / They / It (He, She, We, They, It के साथ क्वेश्चन)

• Is he a doctor? (क्या वह डॉक्टर है?)
• Is she a scientist? (क्या वह साइंटिस्ट है?)
• Are they doctors? (क्या वे डॉक्टर हैं?)
• Are we engineers? (क्या हम इंजीनियर हैं?)
• Is it correct? (क्या यह सही है?)

You are → Are you? (You are से क्वेश्चन)

• Are you a doctor? (क्या तुम डॉक्टर हो?)

To make a negative sentence, add not. (नेगेटिव सेंटेंस बनाने के लिए not जोड़ें)

To make a question sentence, move the helping verb to the front. (क्वेश्चन सेंटेंस बनाने के लिए हेल्पिंग वर्ब को आगे लाएं)
